RYAN AVERY DOMINATES PRE-HANGOVER 150 AT RIVERSIDE
It was the last hoorah for former Riverside Speedway General Manager, Dick Therrien, and a great event it was! A bitter cold day greeted the brave racers, team members and racefans alike, as the temps hovered around zero all day, but even the cold could not stop a fun and entertaining afternoon at the race track. Rick’s Renovations and Dan’s Contracting and Mobile Home works sponsored the day’s activities at Riverside Speedway, a 150 lap enduro of sorts
Berlin, New Hampshire’s, Bronson Roy started off the day collecting the coveted best dressed car award with his Christmas tree growing out of the roof. It was all down hill from there as he finished a distant 28th.
Thornton, New Hampshire’s, Ryan Avery showed why he is such a snow racer, as he took his dirt racing talent to the snow covered asphalt, and cruised to a three lap victory over Jamie Heath and Jeff Ainsworth. Jamie Swallow Jr. and Pete Gilcris rounded out the top five.
